This Privacy Policy describes how Truspary ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our platform at truspary.com. By using Truspary, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
⚠️ No Refund Policy: All payments made to Truspary — including subscription fees, plan upgrades, and one-time payments — are strictly non-refundable. Once a payment is submitted and verified, no refunds will be issued under any circumstance. Please review your plan carefully before making payment. By completing a payment, you acknowledge and agree to this no-refund policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information when you use Truspary:
- Account information: Name, email address, phone number, and password when you register.
- Profile data: Resume, work experience, LinkedIn URL, profile photo, and other information you choose to add.
- Job activity: Jobs you apply to, save, or post; applications you receive or send; messages between users.
- Payment data: Transaction reference numbers (UTR), payment screenshots, and plan details. We do not store full card numbers — card payments are processed by third-party providers.
- Usage data: Pages visited, features used, browser type, device type, and IP address, collected via Google Analytics.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account
- To connect candidates with recruiters
- To process and verify payments
- To send transactional emails (signup confirmation, payment verification, notifications)
- To improve our platform using aggregated analytics
- To enforce our Terms of Service and prevent fraud
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only in the following limited cases:
- Between users: Candidate profiles are visible to recruiters on the platform. Recruiter contact information is visible to candidates in active conversations.
- Service providers: Firebase (Google) for hosting and database, Resend for transactional emails, Groq for AI features. These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy policies.
- Legal requirements: If required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users.
4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely on Google Firebase infrastructure. We use Firestore security rules to ensure users can only access their own data. Passwords are hashed by Firebase Authentication — we never store plaintext passwords. All data is transmitted over HTTPS.
5. Cookies & Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how users interact with our platform. This uses cookies and collects anonymized usage data. You can opt out of Google Analytics by using the Google Analytics Opt-out browser add-on.
6. Your Rights
- Access: You can view and edit your profile data at any time from your dashboard.
- Deletion: You can request deletion of your account and data by emailing info@truspary.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
- Data portability: You may request a copy of your data by contacting us.
7. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
8. Children's Privacy
Truspary is intended for users 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has registered, please contact us at info@truspary.com.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email. Continued use of Truspary after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
